This page describes how ZVM Labs can be presented to grant programs, donors, or international partners. It is not a grant application, but it provides a basic structure for one.
Current Status
ZVM Labs is currently a personal technical blog and public portfolio by Vasyl Zozulia. If a specific grant requires a legal entity, registration number, tax status, PIC, or bank validation, those details must be prepared separately before submission.
If the applicant is an individual, sole proprietor, nonprofit, company, or fiscal sponsor, that should be clearly stated in each application.
Mission in a Grant Context
ZVM Labs supports open bilingual technical education about cybersecurity, infrastructure, AI, and GRC. The blog explains complex technical topics through evidence, risk, controls, decisions, and next steps.
The Problem
Ukrainian and international readers need safe, accessible, and understandable materials about digital security, AI, and technical governance. Such materials are often too narrowly technical, unclear about boundaries, or not adapted for people with different accessibility needs.
The Solution
ZVM Labs creates:
- bilingual materials in Ukrainian and English;
- plain-language explanations of security, infrastructure, AI, and GRC;
- clear reader notices and security scope;
- accessible reading modes and voice reading;
- privacy, security, AI, advertising, and collaboration policies;
- an open evidence map and professional author profile.
Target Groups
- Ukrainian readers developing in cybersecurity, infrastructure, AI, or GRC;
- international partners looking for Ukrainian technical context;
- beginners and self-learners;
- technical professionals who need short risk explanations;
- people with vision, hearing, or color perception needs;
- organizations supporting digital resilience, safe education, and open knowledge.
Possible Funding Areas
| Area | Example costs |
|---|---|
| Content | research, writing, editing, translation, fact checking |
| Accessibility | WCAG audit, manual testing, UI improvements, captions/transcripts |
| Infrastructure | domain, hosting, backups, security, monitoring |
| Learning materials | labs, examples, diagrams, reusable templates |
| Security | CSP review, headers, dependency review, responsible disclosure process |
| Communication | media kit, partner materials, reports, public updates |
Reporting and Transparency
For grants, ZVM Labs can prepare:
- a short public report on completed work;
- a list of created or updated materials;
- a description of accessibility improvements;
- aggregated metrics without personal profiling;
- expense categories;
- risks, limitations, and next steps.
